We’re down to just days before the finale of American Idol.

If you want to keep track of the days, grab the American Idol countdown widget.

After the finale, it’ll turn in to the countdown until the next premier!

The widget is free and should work on most any blogs including WordPress and Blogger. It should also work on your website.

Idol fans, the American Idol Countdown widget has been updated yet again. It now counts down to the official finale date of May 21st 2008! Ohh it’s getting so close.

The widget is available for many different types of sites like WordPress, Blogger, Facebook, Bebo, Ning, iGoogle or just your own website. Actually, it’ll work almost anywhere.

Click on the “Get Widget” button on the right side of the screen, and it’ll show you all the options and give you the code necessary.

American Idol 2008 kicks off in just 18 days and the Google, Netvibes and web widgets have been updated! You can add your American Idol countdown widget to your site and get ready for another spectacular season!

The iGoogle, Netvibes and WidgetBox (website and multi platform) widgets have been updated to now count down until the 2008 American Idol premier. My best estimate is that the new season will start on Fox on January 8th, so we are counting down until that date. When we get final word on the new season start date, the widgets will be updated.

You may need to remove and re-add the iGoogle & Netvibes widgets if you have them as I don’t think they’ll automatically update.

Idolz.net released an American Idol Countdown widget via Widgetbox a while back, now we are releasing the same widget in the form of a Google Gadget and Netvibes widget.
