Looking through the comments on this site, it seems that a lot of people have the best voce ever.  Well prove it.

Before coming out to American Idol auditions do the following.

1. Get a voice coach and learn music.  Learn how to sing, learn how to control your voice, and learn how to impress people with it.
2. Sing in front of strangers.  Your family is not brutally honest like complete strangers, or Simon, are.
3. Fail.  Life is about succeeding and failing.  If you don’t fail, you’ll never know what success really is.  Everyone fails, get use to it.
4. Listen to advice.  You are not always right, you need to know how to take advice and learn from it.
5. Take chances and see what happens.  You may be great at singing pop music, but American Idol will make you sing everything.  Be ready for that.

So many people come to American Idol auditions expecting that they are awesome and they fail. They fail because they are not prepared, are cocky, and don’t know how to listen.
