Melinda Leaves Blake and Jordin Behind

In a bit of a shocker, front runner Melinda was voted out. It seems to happened to all the best ones before the final show though. Or at least it did last year.
I think she’s gone because of age. She’s a bit older than the others so lacks the ‘good looks’ vote. I think she’ll do great no matter what.
Either way, she’ll be in the finale. I believe all of the top 12 (or is it 10) perform. Plus she’ll get to go out on tour and I’m sure an album will be on it’s way.
You rock Melinda!!!

I voted for Melinda and Blake. I started Tuesday night thinking that I would vote for Jordin but I was not overly impressed by her performance. On the other hand Blake really surprised me. He got into “a good groove”, refused to reprise earlier songs and gave his all to the contest. I like Jordin but sometimes her efforts are a little subpar, discounting gems such as “I who have nothing” and “A broken wing” which, frankly, Jordin sings like no other. Melinda, I’m sure will make a great CD and I’ll buy it.

I’ll probably buy the Melinda CD too.
Sad to see her go though.
Melinda Doolittle still rock! She did releases her first song on i Tunes February 12,2008. Will released her first album June of 2008. She is a amazing singer and continued to be the star of season 6. She been voted off but still there and come back more powerful than ever. She was the number one of the season 6. Congrat’s to her.
