Where would you like to see American Idol 2010 Auditions?

Auditions are over for 2009 and Season 8 starts Wednesday, January 13! However, there are still plenty of people that want to audition.
With that in mind, where would you like to see American Idol 2010 auditions?
Granted, these won’t be for months yet, but it’s never to early to start getting ready.

in tulsa, oklahoma but how old do u have to be to audition?
they have a bok center here that can hold 20,000 + people this place opened like a year or two ago and there will be plenty of room plus there are many talented singers here I can definitely see a winner coming from here if there’s a chance they will come they should take it for sure.

I have been writing and singing since I was nine. I may have not had any professional experience but I sure love writing and singing. I have always been a fast learner when it comes to music. Me and my twin sister have always been good at singing, we’re also pretty cute. Well that’s all I have to say, you have a nice day.
auditions should be in lufkin, texas!!! i have wanted to audition since i was 16
I believe Tulsa Oklahoma should be considered for auditions 2010. We have a lot of talented musicians here and Tulsa has a BOK center which can hold 20,000+. Either Tulsa or OKC they have not held any auditions in these cities since the show started. There have been some contestents on the show that have made it from here like Carrie Underwood, and David Cook. Not only that there are many talented singers here and I can definitely see a winner coming from here or winners.

HOUSTON TEXAS!!!!! or at least somewhere in Texas! i auditioned in Dallas last year and didn’t make it past the scout producers (round one). i’ve even gotten SO much better sin last year too! i hate how idol announces their cities at the last minute!!!!!

I believe they should give Motown another chance! Detroit didn’t do well the first time, but we DO have ALOT of talent here. There are a differrent generation of people who would be auditioning now that are very driven. Detroit is at a very good place in time with all of the auto plants shutting down..We are no longer the motor city, we’re not known for it anymore…I would at least like the chance to still be know as MOTOWN and have Detroit known for its musical talent again! Without being the MOTOR CITY or MOTOWN..We are only known as the city that crumbles!

It’s only 45 min. away from where I live and I’ve always wanted to try-out 4 American Idol!!! Everyone’s always sayin I should do it, but ur never close 2 home 4 me!!!! and i know Simon will be all ”No absolutely no” with his accent…And i know i may be crazy…but, I’ve always wanted 2 be critisized by Simon!!!!! =) lol well, idk if he’ll critisize me..i’m pretty dang good!!!

I agree with this one. Many of the people who would like to tryout have obligations such as family and work that they can’t push off to the side long enough to takes days off work and drive 18 hours to audition not to mention many can’t afford the gas as high as it’s been to travel three or four states. I have heard and met tons of talent in Oklahoma and Arkansas who I think have every bit the chance as Kris Allen. But not all people in Arkansas and Oklahoma can travel like that. Bringing auditions to more rural states like OKC or Little Rock would help a lot. Personally I like Tulsa though cause it is close to several states and I will be going regardless I just hope it’s someplace close such as Tulsa, OKC Dallas, or Little Rock.
Well you never know because their is this girl in GRENADA, MS.. yes a small town.. but she can REALLY sing good.. And everyone in this small town will vote for her cause we support her ALL THE WAY!!
You have to keep in mind though, if its time constraints that are keeping these people from being able to travel to the audition, then maybe they aren’t in a place in their lives where American Idol is a very practical idea. If they can’t make time for the audition, how can they make time for the competition?

I agree with Misty…
and I think anywhere in Florida would be good, just because it’s a major state… they should cover Florida, California, and New York definitely… and then maybe Texas. All the other states could be added on later, but those 3 or 4 should definitely have a spot.
well i dont agree with misty those three states shouldnt go first jus cuz yu said so other states are important too.
