For 2010 auditions, I really would like to see American Idol to venture up to New England, maybe closer to Maine. There is a lot of talent here, and there isn’t a chance for anyone to shine here yet. Put a twist on auditions and dare to come up near Maine. There are many people in ME, NH, VT that have a lot of talent, they just need to be given a chance.

Um. All those days and dates are off by one. For example, it says Tuesday August 19 — but August 19 is on a Wednesday this year.

These dates were for the summer of 2008 and the 2009 show. They are not for the summer of 2009 and the 2010 show!
the august 13 audition in jacksonville says its on a wednesday but aug 13th is really a thursday??? which day is it??
So for everyone who has noticed the ‘one day off’ audition dates.
As Samantha said, I’m pretty sure these audition dates were for season 8. Not for the audition dates that are going to go on in the summer of 2009, into 2010.
But if anyone does know the audition dates I and everyone here would love to know them. =)
I don’t know if anyone has noticed, but these locations and dates don’t match at all with the locations and dates listed on the american idol website. I would recommend checking out americanidol.com before planning to audition based on this schedule. Good luck.

well everyone tells me i have a good voice i love to perform in front of people and i love to sing i just want to go to see if i have what it takes to make it in this industry before i make another career i just graduated yesterday and i’m going to college in the fall and i want to see if i could make it as a musician it has always been something i love to do i’m turning 18 in july i just want to give it a try before i go to college so i know for sure what to do with my life being a musician has been my dream since 5 so can’t wait to try out

lol. if i can make it to kansas city from st louis here this year, i’m going to get on. no doubt about that. some of my friends have started betting on whether or not i’ll win. think i have 6000 dollars riding on me so far.
hay im not saying i will be the next american idol but i know ill take home the experience that you cant get anywhere else without truely performing…….. btw my spelling is atrocious
