so yah…. I’m sixteen years old, soon to be seventeen and I have a strong passion for singing especially around other people. Ever since I was twelve, I have always wanted to at least audition for American Idol. I have been in choir since the seventh grade and I have placed first place in many talent shows for singing. Do you think that I have a chance of at least making it to hollywood based on what you just read about me? I really hope that someone will read this and actually reply. I need to know. Thank you.
***** I also want to know the same thing that Laura wants to know- will they come to cleveland? by the way if you haven’t noticed she spelled cleveland wrong.

first of all. you have to be 16 to audition. not 18. second. is idol comin to wisconsin next season for auditions?

You have to be 18 and over to tryout for American Idol. But when auditions come I’m trying out.

i would like to know when are they coming to atlanta. i will be turning 17 oct. 28 and when i sing all i ever hear is “child you to go on american idol” but i was always to young.and do a parent or guardian have to be present with you at the audition?
