American Idol 2008 Audition Dates

Man, it’s that time again already when hopefuls from around the country try out for American Idol! Here are the cities the judges will be coming to:
- San Diego, California: Qualcomm Stadium – July 30
- Dallas, Texas: Texas Stadium – August 6
- Omaha, Nebraska: Qwest Center – August 10
- Atlanta, Georgia: Georgia Dome – August 14
- Charleston, South Carolina: North Charleston Coliseum – August 18
- Miami, Florida: American Airlines Arena – August 22
- Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: Wachovia Center – August 27
The dates and places may change so please check with your local venue before making plans. All contestants must be between 16 & 28 as of July 28th 2007 in order to try out.

hey hey so what about those people in montana who have lots of talent??? i want to audition i kno that i am very good and its really hard to come up with money to travel from montana to such a far place. i really hope you can change one of these places closer to montana you will not ever regret me doin the audition.

I am so confused.. on this page it says for the 2008 auditions you have to be 16 by july 28th (2007), did they make a mistake.. or do you have to be 16 by july 28th (2008) for the 2008 auditions??? i hope someone can give the the right answer and also i wish they would put up the places an times that are set in stone for they auditions! if anyone knows the real info. please email me at meliriv91@yahoo.com, Thanks.

I’m 17 yrs old and i have huge dreams. people say that i am one very multi-talented one lady.. i love to sing, dance, model, and design clothes. i have so much to offer and i really want my chance to shine. its my turn and im ready. nerves do come over me, but i still try my hardest each time. i get a lot of support from strangers and people i barely know, but it seems like my family don’t understand how much i want this… i really needed some advice on how to make my dreams come true.. and then i found this.. im da right age, got da right look, so i’m ready to make the right choice.. I’am a 30 year old that still have dreams and want a chance to accomplish them. Why is it that the age limit starts at 16 and ends at 28. What can anyone between the ages of 16-18 do when there still in school and have an education to finish. There are older talent out there to that wants a chance your never to old to accomplish your dreams.
